My Vanity Case
Will my case fit into an airline overhead locker?
The dimensions of your vanity case are 309 mm Height – 415 mm Width – 160 mm Depth – 510 mm Height including handle. The average carry-on luggage size is 560mm Width x 450mm Length x 250mm Depth this means your case will fit into the average overhead locker. However, we recommend checking with your chosen airline prior to travel as some locker sizes vary.
Can I ask for a sample of leather, vegan leather or silk before I make my final decision?
Yes, we would be delighted to send you up to three swatches of your choice. From timeless and traditional to vibrant and fashionable, this way you can guarantee you are choosing the exact colour and shade specifically for you.

What is vegan leather made of?
The Vanity Case Company is passionate about organics, ethical farming and sustainable growth. We are constantly sourcing alternatives to animal derived products. We are fascinated with the latest technology which manufactures not only non-animal derived materials, but ones which are hard wearing and low risk to the environment.
Micro-fibre Leather – The Vegetarian leather we use is produced primarily from either a specially engineered nylon or polyester fibre matrix and is not made from PVC. All the faux leather products are made of a specially engineered nylon or polyester fibre matrix. These products manufactured without PVC or plasticizers and do not off-gas any dangerous compounds. Due to the technical innovation of the material produced, a wide range of visual and tactile effects can be achieved.
Our vegan leather is PETA-approved.
We will also use non animal derived glues throughout the process of manufacturing our cases.
Does my case have a lock?
Yes, your case has a strong and functional lock which has been designed specifically for The Vanity Case Company by one of Britain’s leading designers and product development consultants with over 20 years’ experience designing for the luxury goods industry. Upon delivery of your case you will be presented with a beautiful leather or vegan leather key pouch, which will contain two keys with the V logo which is synonymous with The Vanity Case Company. All of our hardware, including the lock and keys are made in keeping with our ethical and sustainability principles and are made in low lead brass and are either plated in 18 carat gold or palladium.
Where is my case manufactured?
The Vanity Case Company is passionate about “British Made” as we believe it stands for quality, sustainability, consistency, transparency and integrity. That is why we are dedicated to keeping The Vanity Case Company’s cases 100% hand crafted in Great Britain using the finest materials. All of our cases have “Handcrafted in Britain” hot foil pressed on them representing our values.
How can I make my vanity case mine?
Making your vanity case personally yours is an exciting part of its creation and your Vanity Case Company journey. We offer a complementary monogramming and engraving service, dependent upon which product range you have chosen.
The Individuality Range – If you are choosing your case from this range we offer a hot foil press service, where you can choose up to three initials in either gold or silver to match your 18 carat gold or palladium plated hardware.
The Iconic Range – if you have chosen the exclusive Iconic range you will not only have a choice of the hot foil monogramming service, but you are invited to have your lock personally engraved with up to four letters. This service is unique to the Iconic range.

*Please note – Because of the shape of your case, all monogramming and engraving needs to be ordered at the time of manufacturing, as any personalisation is applied before your case is created.
Is there a charge for personalisation?
We know how much it means for you to own unique and personalised leather goods, so we offer the hot foil press monogramming and engraving as a complementary service.
Please note there is a charge for the hand painted design service.
Do I pay for postage and packaging?
Once your case has been lovingly created, we will deliver it to your door courtesy of our complimentary delivery service.
How long will it take for my case to arrive?
Delivery schedules are subject to manufacturing times and payment clearance. Actual delivery times may also vary depending on shipping locations. Please also note there may be a slight delay in the dispatch of your order during peak seasons. The Vanity Case Company will always endeavour to deliver your products within
the estimated times, however we cannot be responsible for any delays out of our control.
Individuality range – Our delivery lead times for the Individuality range is 6 – 8 weeks due to the exquisite attention to detail we pay to each one of our vanity cases.
Iconic range – We require a 10-12 week delivery time for the Iconic range to ensure that every single aspect of your bespoke vanity case is created to a superlative standard.
Who will deliver my case?
The Vanity Case Company uses a number of carefully selected carriers, all of which require a signature upon delivery. We are unable to change the delivery address once the order has been processed. If you have any further questions regarding the delivery of your vanity case, please email email@example.com.
What if no one is available to sign for the delivery?
If no one is available to sign for your vanity case our courier will leave a card. Please call the number on the card, quoting the card reference number to re-arrange delivery. Although we work closely with our chosen couriers to ensure the best possible service, we regret that delays sometimes occur which are outside our control.
How can I track my order?
Once we have received your order we will send you a conformation email which will include tracking information. This will enable you to directly track your vanity case and correspond if necessary with the courier provider.
Can I change my delivery address?
Once your order has been submitted we regret we are unable to alter the delivery address, under any circumstance.
Will there be Customs and Duties charges?
Custom Duties may be payable dependent upon which country you reside in by the recipient. We regret that we are unable to advise on these amounts.
How do I contact The Vanity Case Company?
Can I cancel or modify my order?
As our products are especially bespoke items and are personalised for you, we are unable to offer any refund. Please read our Terms and Conditions for more information.
Can I gift a case and add a personal message?
Our cases are delivered in their beautiful presentation box with its dust bag and care instructions, making it the perfect gift. If you would like a card with a personal message placed inside the case please contact customer services at firstname.lastname@example.org where we will be pleased to help.
How do I care for my vanity case?
The personal care instructions for your case are neatly placed with your certificate in the internal elasticated pocket of your case.
We also offer a professional Nurturing service. Our expert team offer a comprehensive repair and cleaning services for the leather, silk, stitching and hardware on cases and accessories. This will be a chargeable service and cost will be based on our client’s individual requirements.
